Custom furniture designed and built to your specifications. Specializing in rustic live edge slab tables. I personally acquire and collect the logs and then mill them into both slabs and dimensional lumber. The slab material is milled for table, bar, and desk tops and the dimensional cuts are for table legs, aprons and bases. The lumber is then kiln dried and sterilized one species at a time and in small batches. After the drying process, slabs are planed and sanded on my slab surfacer and bases are constructed using traditional woodworking machinery including the table saw, jointer, planer and lathe as well as chisels and hand tools. Mortise and tenon joinery is utilized for structural integrity and rock solid joints. Voids and knots are filled and leveled with epoxy and hand rubbed oil and wax finishes are used to complete the project. Please contact me to discuss your ideas and I would be happy to turn your vision into a beautiful piece of furniture for your home or office.
